I just reformatted my computer recently, so now it runs beautifully. I'm no longer using the Stardock stuff as it's been bogging down my last install (sorry, Spazzo).

I hardly ever use my desktop (keep programs open maximized most of the time), so I like to keep it clean. For those on XP, the Zune theme is pretty neat (just don't use their supplied wallpaper).

Form doesn't always sacrifice function. In this case, high-color icons simply look better while still giving you the same functionality. You lose very little in the process unless you're on, like, an 8MB RAM machine.

Because the Start Menu was to be included in the picture, I've moved some of the desktop icons on the left up to a third column. By my default, the icons only take up two columns.
