I went on SRB2 wondering what wpn stood for. I brung down the console and typed:

ADDFILE RAIL.WPN

It showed something about X number of sprites added and no maps added.
What happened when I did that?

You really don't need to add the weapon file, it's automatically loaded, and it basically contains a bunch of sprites for weapon combos.

Bah, I don't feel like researching so I'll ask here. Can new wpn rings be made, or is it only possible to edit existing ones...?

You could try, but I don't think it would work out real well. Your biggest problem would probably be the sprites used for combo weapons (for example, an auto-homing ring has a triangular shape, along with the two gray parts coming off of it).

Oh well, there wouldn't be much to add. I can't think of too many others that wouldn't require exe tweaking anyway. Though I did have an idea for a "Clip Ring." Not hard to figure out what I mean. Think "Chaos Control."
