What does it mean by bad sprite name

I am trying to make a kart character but when I activate him, the console says "bad sprite name" and then they don't show up on the player setup screen and are replaced by sonic, how do i fix this?

don't worry I fixed it, the error dosent show anymore (maybe because the folders were named incorrectly or that the S_SKIN thing wasent in the skins folder)
