What do you think about the Sonic Riders Hovercraft?

I know a lot of people say the hovercraft sucks HUGE ass due to it's terrible controlling, but I disagree. It's a high risk high reward type gear so it's supposed to be a challenge, I kinda still don't get why people don't understand that yet.
