I ask this because I'm quite unsure on how popular it is. I personally think it's a bad stage because having most of the stage underwater is really annoying. I'm always wanting to get air. Most netgames simply crowd around the top floor from my experience.

I love the stage

You can play it safe on the ground, or risk it in the water. The water has the rewards.

Yeah, Hydro Plant is cool. It's fun to play on with both Tails and Sonic, and the liquid shield and bomb rings make the bottom part totally worth exploration. Would probably be a little more interesting if the stage wasn't symmetrical, though.

I think it's awful. Most of the spawn points are under water, and it's really hard to get out.

Um, I've never liked the stage. I mostly collect my rings from going up and down on the springs repeatedly, and then shoot anyone I see.

Although I do agree that it sucks that all the spawn points are underwater.

Point is, though, that because it's underwater the springs are hard to get to. Not to mention that only half of the hallways have immediate access to springs.

It's only bad if you don't have Sonic. Having Tails underwater will make him twice as slow, which becomes an easier target for other people. And since the water mimics having low gravity, then it only makes it more frustrating when trying to get out. Having Sonic, though, makes the stage much more enjoyable.

Hate it. The level is a huge pain in the ass when you aren't on the top layer.

Hydro Plant isn't all that hard. Really, the main bad part of it is that if a Tails player goes under-water, his already slow speed gets slower. Sonic has his thok to propell him through the water more. Knuckles suffers about the same as Tails. I like Hydro Plant mainly because it is a water stage. There arn't many stages that utilize water, making it much different than other stages. It does get kind of annoying if you get hit under water, but I've been hit more often by people waiting at the top of springs to shoot someone real quick then run.
