What are your opinions on Sonic Prime?

Didn't that Knuckles flashback have the Hidden Palace theme? Because it had a different section in the music, while still retaining the same instruments in the game. I was only surprised by that considering SEGA has never let a person use the Genesis instruments (That are used in the Yamaha-2612). It's also the only thing I was surprised about Sonic Prime. I mean, I know that Sonic Forces and Superstars had the Yamaha-2612 used.


By the way, if you wanna see the flashback. It's around 1:25 and ends around 2:05

Now that i rewatch it, it just looks like an old fan animation💀 And yet some fans out there reanimated one of them and is way better.
 
S1 was really good but I do have to agree with everyone else, most of S2-S3 wasn't as good as S1
overall, IDK.
 
Absolute shit. I hate it with all my energy. The voice acting is good. That's all I can say. I was genuinely mad, I had to turn off my tv because I was mad. In the middle of the episode. ( That one episode from season 3 where sonadow beats the fuck out of those robots. ) The animation is.... Alright. Another thing, I don't like how people say that the prime model is better than the stock/gens/unleashed models, while it's literally the same thing with new textures.
 
Personally I'm not much of a fan, I don't really like how the chars are portrayed and how "gimmicky" the show feels, show got abit stale by season 2, and the flashback scenes just make me question my existence
 
I’d rather watch Sonic Underground than Prime, I know the freedom fighters aren’t canon anymore but I feel like new yolk would have been a perfect reintroduction for the SatAM crew. And yes I know I overly love the SatAM cartoon but the writing was absolutely amazing. [also the egg-forcers have got nothing on the swatbots]. Another point I’d like to make is why is the character writing so bad? I mean if they wanted an evil Tails then they should have had him as the villain from the start and not have an awful character arc. (To all who like Prime I respect your opinion)

I had really high hopes for it, and did enjoy it when Season 1 released but I've completely lost all drive to even finish the show.
Sonic's characterization is horrible, (His voice actor is amazing, though.) there's barely any true consistency with canon, and the sprite flashbacks are (as everyone's said,) complete dogshit.

I could forgive everything but how Sonic was turned into a complete idiot.
Sonic isn't meant to be a genius, but I'd say he's still above-average intelligence wise.
Alas, Wildbrain's writers completely disregarded Ian Flynn's advice and did their own shit making me cringe whenever Sonic makes a connection that an 8 year old would easily be able to make.
