What are bots?

What are bots? I heard about them on YouTube,what do they do?

They kill you with bad advertising.

If it's the SRB2 bots, they used to follow you around and help you out on the game, until they crash the game with a smile on their face.

You can only use bots with SRB2JTE, which has a topic in the editing board. However, the link to download it has been removed because SRB2JTE doesn't work with the newer version and the staff doesn't want people to download it then complain about it not working. So unless you already have SRB2JTE and 1.09.2, you're stuck. If you DO have it, launch the srb2jte.exe file and use the addbot command. You can put a skin name after "addbot" to tell the game which bot you want added (like "addbot knuckles" if you want a Knuckles bot).

Well...I used a launcher and put srb2JTE in it, but...addbot said no such command :?

That's because you need to use srb2jte.exe. The wad only contains the maps.

If you have srb2JTE's wad, you probably have the exe. :/

Can we expect a new verstion of SRB2JTE? Not asking for dates <_> Just wondering if there will ever be one?
