what about an SRBF

Wouldnt it be cool to make an SRBF(Sonic Robo Blast(3) Future) using todays sonic and HaloCE. Halo is the same concept of srb2 if you change the view to third person. it wouldnt be hard to change the weapons into rings like match mode. and we can make a race mode. I think it would be really cool!... I have an editing tool for maps and characters. i use 3ds max.

There's quite a large portion of this community that rather despises Halo, to be honest (myself included).
 
thats why you mod OVER halo.... beside, im not a hardcore halo fan either... i just like what they have done to it. and srb2 is similar to it.

I don't see how SRB2 is similar to Halo at all, personally. The only notable similarity is that SRB2 was modded off of another FPS.

Besides, STJr. isn't even done SRB2 yet. Why work on the (nonexistant) sequel when the prequel to it is still under production?
 
If they are ever done, I think I know what Scorn meant. I was looking at the old hacking topics on Sonic-cult (don't EVER go there), and I found something called Sonic Adventure online. They modded Halo so the SA levels were playable, and Someone else made Sonic Halo characters. I bet if they modded the characters and gameplay enough, It would be just like Sonic Adventure, except with random online players in the same level as you.Also, Just so you know, I absolutely despise Halo, so I'm sort of with both of you, but I do agree that if STj. does ANYTHING like this, they must finish SRB2 first.

And STJr won't, as they once said there won't be any SRB3 at all, even after SRB2 is officially finished (if ever).
 
Aren't there like, 20 Sonic Halo mods anyway? There's at least 3... or one that's horribly coordinated and always changing names. But still, if you want something like that just make your own game using whatever engine you want. Or no engine, that's always fun.
 
Screw mods, get a book on creating a C++ based Multiplayer FPS in DirectX and code it yourself.

If we were to do an SRB3, it would probably be using AJ's own Wizard engine. Not to mention, mods for games like Halo require that you own the game being modded. Halo PC's engine doesn't even look like it'd be a very good engine to make a mod for. You're better off making a mod for an engine by a company that actually knows how to write code. Unreal Engine and Source Engine are two good examples. Obviously, these engines also require that you own the game being modded, but at least they're good engines.
 
Wizard is the sequel to SRB2! (not really)

I just played through Wizard 1 again yesterday, and it's making me want to make it over again in Wiz 2.
