Hello again! ^^
I´ve open this Topic in the hope that ALL search of Wad files have an End.
Even when I try to join a Server I haven’t a Wad file or not the newest Version!

A Sample:
Yesterday, ree-c open a Server but I need:
Carter-ree-c (I have it but I need a newer Version!), zhadow (I have it too, need a newer Version!) and Capitanfalcon (or so….I didn’t have it!)

So I’m really sorry that I can’t join. I have tried but sorry.

I will now, that ALL “Wadders” send here a Link to his wad file(s) BUT ONLY the NEWEST Version.

P.S. If i´ve time, I send here a Link to my Wads Too but I haven’t so much time at the moment. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL SRB2-PLAYERS!!! ^^

Maybe you don't have 1.09.1?
Or you have 1.09.1 and the server is using 1.09?
Try that first.
 
Or, you could use the maxsend command...
I don't know what it uses (Kb, Mb, etc...)
So, something like this:
MAXSEND 9999999999999999
And then people can download the files, and play the game.
MUCH easier than trying to organize ;)
 
im gonna try that, yay! no more waiting ages for my email to send an attatchment wad! :)
 
heh. Don't work. There is a max for the maxsend(you will know when you hit it; it says that it is set to max instead of giving you a number).

1.09.1 may be buggy, but it's hard to play netgames without it, as nearly everyone has it.
 
someone tryed to join my server with something other than 1.09.1, 1.09, easy mistake to make,seeing as theres still people who use it quite often, if its someone who still uses 1.08 then something is seriously wrong.

I'm just wondering how to get players to work in single player now...
 
I mean how to make the 1.09.0 characters compatible with 1.09.1, the SOC edit is "out-dated".
