Wad list not the same as server?

Me and my brother have been trying to play with each other for a long time. I make an Offline Server, he joins by IP, and it almost works... But then it says that the servers Wad list does not match with my brothers Wad list, but the thing is, we have the exact same Wad's, and i made sure they were the same. I need help. Please help

It could be that the WADs have either been modified (from their original source) or one of you has an older version of them.

I'd recommend you both download them from both the same source, or one of you send the WADs that aren't matching up to the other person.

Thank you for your help, we got the WADs from the same places but they might have been updated. Again, thanks for the help
