WAD help!!

[Phorocline The Hedgehoggy]

Hey my name is Phorocline, and I am in the proccess of making a character WAD for SRB2. It's only a recolor right now, but he will soon become his own WAD. The question I'm asking all of you guys is how do I color him?

I am using XWE the latest version and I have located the place where I see all of his movements and things. But, I don't know how to color it.
Colors show up at the bottom when I double click the picture, but when I click the color, then click him again, it won't change his color.

Step one. Export the sprite lump
Step two. Vomit all over it
Step three. Import the sprite lump
Repeat 200 or so times

Turn it green. Look at sonic.plr to get the shade.

Or in other words, if you want a color of the sprite to be a certain color, but still want it to change to other colors, color the part that is going to change colors green.
