.wad color problems

I added a new character .wad to my game. It works fine, but the colors are all wrong. Why is that?

Please explain carefully the whole idea of adding new files to existing ones like you have to do to build the game you want is kind of new to me, so I don't understand, for example, programming process issues, in case those apply.

Of course I didn't program this wad or anything i just downloaded it. It's one for Amy, and her fur is grey and outfit is different colors for some reason.

Some n00bs on the MS poorly ported the old 1.09 WADs to 2.0 and spread them on the MS. The reason the colors are messed up is because the palette wasn't properly changed in the WADs.

Is there any way to... fix that?
Or is it just a bad .wad in 2.0 or above?

It's going to have the wrong colors in 2.0. It'll probably sorta work otherwise.

For character WADs that actually have the correct palette, try the releases section of the forums.
