Well, it seems there was a feature of Runsoc that I didn't know about. One that allows me to cram a bunch of random SOCs into one WAD. So here it is, most of the SOCs that were laying around my harddrive doing nothing.

Adding the WAD normally does nothing at first, but you can then access various effects by typing in the console; "runsoc {lumpname}"
Replacing {lumpname} with one of the following:

Normal
Cape
Spinball
Tiny
Weapons
DThok
Orbit
CThru
N00b

I might've forgotten a few, and I intentionally left out one. Just to make it a little more entertaining. I'm also not going to tell you what each does. :P
Most (all?) of these SOCs I've released before.

Once again that download link is: http://www.sendspace.com/file/eqqvaa

Now go play, and don't bug me for screens.

Addfile vokeldasocs.wad
runsoc <one of the soc lumps listed above>

Example:
Runsoc CAPE

I did that. It turns out they work, Cept for cape...

TO FIND OUT ALL THE SOCS, OPEN IT UP WITH XWE.

List of Soc's that won't work for me-

-Cape
-Weapons
-Orbit
-Blossom

-Dthok won't hurt me....

Orbit and DThok dosen't work because you need to restart the map for them to work.

All the others just have effects you probably haven't noticed :P

ZOMG

This definetly helps downloading OVER 10 SOCS. THANK YOU

One question, HOW DID YOU LEARN HOW TO SOC?! I MUST KNOW.

NOW.

Um, this isn't the place to talk about this but,

1) Make a text file and save it as .soc
2) Double click the file (must be in the SRB2 folder)
3) Find your soc and select it.
4) Click "scr" on the collection of folders.
5) Click the area of the game you wish to modify.

I know how to EDIT them (I've made one to add scenery in my failed special stage concept) but I wanted to know how he LEARNED it.

Experimenting with stuff can lead to great results. Sure, reading the wiki will help you with some small details, but you've gotta discover wadding/SOCcing all by yourself.

Most people here who are good wadders, SOCcers and programmers found out that way. Just reading a tutorial does not make the basics.
