URL Tag - What's with this <aherf> thingy?

Really... Apparently it's supposed to be not buggy and you can use it as an alternative to but I can't get it too work. When ...Firefox doesn't recognize it as a link -_-...

It doesn't really matter. The text becomes blue-ish when you use , so I don't see how its so hard to notice it.

Maybe in some themes, but themes such as Void definately don't have much of a color change at all. I routinely use the tag with the tag so that it becomes fairly obvious. And no, I'm not excited about HTML. At all.
