What does this mean? When I try to join using the launcher, I keep getting this.

Are you running it through WINE or something?

No, I'm running it directly. It works for Srb2riders, but not normal Srb2.

What does log.txt say? Put it in here and if you feel it is too big, pastebin it.

Srb2 doesn't say that, the launcher does, if that helps. I can join netgames just fine with Srb2, and the launcher gives me that error when I try to connect.

I assume the launcher is in your SRB2 folder? Have you tried restarting your PC and trying it again? It is possible in the "Event Viewer" under applications, it has more detail about the error. You can view the "event viewer" in control panel > administrative tools > Event Viewer > Applications.
