Turn Off The Console

even though i set the console on off in the options it didn't seem to do anything
when playing modern sonic i have many warning lines on the top that i can't turn off, it says something about the hud but everything works fine

The console can't be turned off. The fact that you're seeing warning lines means the game is having trouble running the mod, and that you should report that to the mod's maker, given that you're running the right version of the game.
