Transparency issues...

Yeah, I made a purple barrier. I know, it sounds crazy, but it doesn't look too bad, actually. The problem is that XWE reads color number 251 (By doom color standards) as transparant. I've tried resorting to DeepSea, but that failed. Miserably. I believe that Wintex doesn't read 241 as transparant...Could someone either:
A) Tell me a good way to get around this with XWE
or
B) Give me a link to Wintex?
or
C) Anything else that will work.

There are only 5 shades, and I used all of the others.
I need this shade.

Go into Deepsea's options and choose "Wintex Default" for transparent color.
 
You should use Doom2 as the IWAD.

I'm surprised it even accepts srb2.srb as the IWAD...
 
Actually, I managed to find a way around it.
Make a purple just a tad different shade, and save the sprites as 24-bit bitmap. XWE will recreate the purple, rather than make it transparent.
