It was made to be cartoon like kappa mikey his lines are bold. Like this.

Oh and I dont have photoshop I have paint.

And? Paint isn't useless. I use it. No Photoshop, no GIMP, just paint.

Yeah, I mean come on. I'm quite sure you could make a exact copy of of the rings in SRB2 using paint (Considering I've actually done it before).
I think you could atleast try to make them round. Also, like DW said they aren't consistent.
