Tips for making 6 minutes?

I got full speed, I turned down SRB2's resolution to 800x600 and turned off "record sound" to get it to run fast.

Turned DOWN?! What do you NORMALLY play at?! I have to set it at 320x200 while recording videos to get speeds above 3FPS! O_O()

1280x960 OGL.

Try clicking "Half size", that should record at half the resolution you are playing at and possibly make things run faster.

Why else would he be playing in OpenGL mode all the time? :P *shot*

My computer isn't THAT powerful, it's just a P4 with a not-top-of-the-line video card.. in fact, I'm trying ot get something better x.x.

Use the Launcher. The lmp files, though, are limited. Or check Snapfiles for screen capturing software.

You would have to collect 50 rings to turn into Super Sonic. And by the time you do, you've wasted a ton of time.

The only quick way to do this is to get an emerald token. When you have all the emeralds, they give you 50 rings each. However, these are usually out of the way, and the only time you can do this to better your time is in THZ2, where it is relatively on path, and the invinsibility can be used to ge to the end without waiting for the acid to drain first after you push the switch(For better details on how to get a better time, go to the records page. I put up my stage tips there).
