The Thread For Finding/Remembering Lost Games

There was a game on regular gameboy where you had a vacuum and sucked up monsters/ghosts. One of the bosses was a witch.

There was a game on nintendo where, if I remember correctly, in the first level there was a well that you can fall/go into. At the bottom of the well was a treasure chest. I think the first boss was some kind of snake monster. In one of the later levels, it was storming outside and there were big mushrooms.

Holy crap. I'm glad I still kept one of those X games in one discs; they have the demo of Speedy Eggbert. I could get a scan of the disc, if you'd like.

nostalogia indeed

1. Don't know about this, promo games tend to be ignored. :(

Speaking of Promotion games, I used to have a Cap'n Crunch game where you had to raise some little creatures to defeat some really crazy bad guys in maniacal minigames.

Oh man... That was one of the many games that made my childhood.

Speaking of titles that are long forgotten, anyone remember the game featuring 7 Up's mascot, Spot?

No but i remember a game featuring the old Pepsi mascot,Pepsi Man.
I remember of a game where you control a ball in different world and have to collect fruits and "drugs".
It was for PSX and N64.

I seem to remember a PSX game called "Spot goes to Hollywood"

Pretty good game to waste your time with since there are tons of levels to unlock and unique bosses that fit the type of movie genre your in.

There was a genesis game just called Cool Spot, which I think is much better then spot goes to hollywood. It was also released for the SNES and DOS, but I personally think the Genesis is the best version of it.

Well, I played Spot Goes to Hollywood, so I'm now wondering about Cool Spot, since you're saying it's better than Goes To Hollywood. I loved playing Spot Goes To Hollywood.

I remember this! This game was easy but fun.
It was the good old genesis time, when it was possible to make those kind of games, and sold them(i think it's simply impossible to sell a 3D remake of those games in 2009)!

Cool Spot was a classic platformer, made by part of the Earthworm Jim crew. You should definitely check it out, Greg.

I've played a DOS board game featuring Spot. Fortunately, Cool Spot isn't qualified as obscure.

I played both Cool Spot and Spot Goes To Hollywood. SGTH actually had two versions, one for Genesis and one for PS1/Saturn. The Genesis version was pretty terrible, the 32-bit version was only a little better, personally. Maybe I should play it more.

Also, there was a Spot game for the Game Boy, I think it was called Spot: The Cool Adventure. It played a lot like MC Kids, and there was actually an M.C. Kids for Gameboy that was just a reskinned version of that Spot game.
Or maybe it was the other way around.

Well, I finally found the DOS version of Crazy Drake, in it's entirety.
I would provide a link for it, but I am unsure if I'm allowed to post Abandonware links or not,
so I won't until confirmation is given.

I remember having a car racing game based on missions with cartoonish graphics. IIRC, there were some missions on which you had to take Speedy Eggbert from point X to point Y. Don't remember the name of that game, it was pretty fun.
Oh, and it had green aliens that looked like potatoes.
