Okay, in the game ZZT, you can make your own worlds and stuff. There's a world dedicated to showing ideas for you to use in your own world.
I propse that we should make that for SRB2.
How would it work?
Well, people would submit in maps of ways to work things. These wouldn't be just how to use something, but how you would use it. For example, anyone can make a falling floor. Making a falling floor that time delays opening a door while Jettys are shooting at you-that uses the same mechanics, same effects, but uses it in a way that actually does something.
You submit a map under a difficulty rating of how hard it is to make. Easy is one or two effects working in tangent, like the above; medium is a few more effects working together, maybe 5 or so; and hard is a lot of effects working together.
The way it would work is that the maps are sent in, categorized as to their function, and a hub world is made that links to a section, for example "Water effects", "Gravity", "Mini-games", etc.
If people are interested in this, let me know.
