I've never played Sonic R before, but the reason I wanna buy it is cause I wanna play as Tails Doll. That goes for Metal Knuckles too.
 
For reviews, I usually go to www.gamefaqs.com. I sift through the bad reviews, find the good ones, and it has yet to fail me. :)

I should get sonic R, but I've never found it in a gamestore. I guess Ebay is the only way these days.

i've played 4 player Sonic R, over my LAN and college LAN with the PC version, got to love Directplay at times
 
Too bad I can't afford Gems and Sonic R doesn't work on XP. I'm so sad. ;_;

Does Gems have an option in the menu to disable vocals, like the PC version did?

WAY too short, vocals suck and are unnecessary, no run on XP, Sega got lazy with the Tails Doll, etc. The gameplay was fun, but the game itself could improve in so many ways.
 
No, he took the pills so he wouldn't have to suffer Tails Doll's wrath. You see, they were squirrel suicide pills.

Tails Doll devoured his soul, anyway. Note the enlarged pupils.
 
Did you know the Island stage music speaks about getting stoned?

Heh, that would really be screwed up if it was actually what Sega intended.

Not that I would have noticed, I play with vocals off ALWAYS.
