When I saw the picture I wondered if the Knuckles sprite was finally getting worked on. I guess it won't be worked on for a good many months.. or years.

That exact frame is in SRB2, although shrunk to sprite size and colored differently. Had AJ used a gliding pose, I would have been so owned =P
