Whenever I try to launch the game, it stops and shows me this pop up a second later. I can already assume that my saved data has been irreversibly corrupted, but I don't know how to get the game to work again. The last time I played, I activated a pair of mods; The Combi Rings Lock On Pack 1 and the Catcher Health Bar, and I'm assuming they might be related to this. Regardless, if there's any way to get the game working again, please let me know what to do

move (cut, not copy!) ringdata.dat and ringprofiles.prf to somewhere else. (don't delete it or else it may be impossible to recover some data!) After you moved them, rename ringdata.dat.bak to ringdata.dat and then ringprofiles.prf.bak to ringprofiles.prf.

I tried doing what you said and it didn't work either. I misunderstood some things and I moved the files that ended in .bak out instead of the other ones, but after realizing the mistake, I renamed them and placed them back in the DRRR files. Despite that, it didn't work. I'll leave the other log it created afterwards. Maybe I screwed up even more with that mistake ._.

It looks like it appears to be the same message, but it also mentioned about executing ringconfig.cfg. It may work if you delete it, but if that doesn't work, that means that your save data is hard corrupted. You will have to start over from the beginning. (Sorry
)But be sure to move (cut) your corrupted profile and data file to somewhere else to keep it in case you found out a way to recover it again. After that, launch the game and it should work again.
You will have to play the tutorial again, but it can be skipped by driving behind to find a tunnel or using the password gaster
After that, if you had any unlocks, read passwords.txt that is included in the game files to unlock them back.
If you have any prizes (those earned ufo stages) that you got in cups, you will have to earn them again because there is no password that unlocks them back.
Also, remember to always take backups of your save files even if the game backs up for you itself. Don’t play the game during power outages because if your power turns off during the game, it can cause corrupted data. Also, if you are gonna use these addons again, BACKUP YOUR DATA FIRST. After you do that, try testing them again. If they damage it, You probably have an incorrectly downloaded add on file. If it is downloaded correctly and still damages it, contact the author of those addons about them.
