Awhile back, I released a SOC called the flight ring. It used A_RemoteAction to modify the auto ring into, as one user put it, a "jetpack." Today I have recreated it, using techniques that result in Vanilla SRB2 compatibility!

Ascension is a little buggy, as is the inert flaws of an affected-by-gravity object using A_CapeChase, but with practice it can become very powerful. Simply collect an auto ring, look to the sky, and dream of going there (hold fire)
I recommend using this with chasecam off, to make it look like it sucks slightly less.

Lastly, unfortunately due to some buggy netplay code, it seems that almost any call of A_FindTarget in a netgame will result in consistency failures. So no netplay compatibility, I blame SSNTails.

No screenshots 4 u, as I'm lazy. Deal with it.

I hope that gets fixed.
 
People need to stop with the stupid quotes now kthx.

I know a friend that made this SOC before.
