Heya, what with the current version of SRB2 coming to a close and how it's been going on for so long, I figured that there will have been a fair few good speed runs of SRB2.
So, what's your best times? I'll also be keeping a record of the best times on this post.

Anyway, here are my best times, they are by no means perfect and I expect that they've been trumped by the more skilled players, but it's just to get things started. http://i30.tinypic.com/2dtcdfq.jpg

Record times will be updated whenever a new best time is posted, also proof in the form of a screenshot or video is required and in order to take a screenshot of the statistics screen an external program needs to be used, for example, I used the free trial of Fraps to take my screenshot.

I don't have a record on me, but I know I can get sub 30 seconds in GFZ2 as Knuckles. It's hard to time, but it's possible.
 
I think this topic has been done before.

Anyway, I remember clearing GFZ3 in 13 seconds once. Probably not the fastest time, but it's somewhere close, I bet.

Yeah, I've gotten something like 29:31 as Knuckles. I think TailsMasterMind had 24 or 23 seconds.
 
Times are scattered all over the place, sadly. Plenty of people have impressive times while not really doing anything about it. I used to time attack some time ago, and I'd love to see it jump back up in popularity once SRB2v2 comes out (same with ctf and not match lolo)

I'd take a peek at the ones on youtube; there are plenty of good speed runs for individual levels. I think I remember someone breaching 10 seconds on GFZ1 as Sonic, actually...

None of the runs done by SB on that channel are on the official levels, I think the thread would be a bit inflated if I had added in every popular mod, if I make a new topic for the release of SRB2 2.0 then I might add in level pack times as well.

As nice as those times are, I can't see any proof that they were achieved. I don't doubt that Foxboy is good enough to score those times, but I'm not going to have double standards by turning someone down for not having proof if I accept them. Also, the microseconds would be useful.

But it had long since sunk and I decided it would be better making a new topic, rather than bumping an old one.
 
Not microseconds, ticks.

Multiply the tick number by 3.3... to get the centisecond count. Not microseconds.

EDIT: I can get something like 29 seconds on GFZ1. I think.
 
Hm. Hold the record of 11:32 even though that's not the best. For some reason, I see Foxboy as the best Srb2 Player. Better then Sb. Not sure about Jazz though.
