Ugh... Something needs to be done about the People (like myself) that for some reason host under a Port like 60,000. So I ask you, what can be done?

Huh.

Try using -clientport 5029 or -udpport 5029. If not, may I suggest setting your LAN IP as the DMZ?

>_>;;; Stupid is me?

I'm not really the one that configures the IP stuff (cept the ports of coruse). I tried UDPPORT 5029, but that only served to help join games. Which isn't what I'm going for. I haven't tried clientport, so let me check...

EDIT- Client port= Failure.

Hrm.

What exactly happened when you tried -clientport? Did it just appear as (odd port number) on the MS?

I'm going to do a Test with Mint when he gets back tomorrow. I'll have him clientport with the 60,000-62,000 digit that I get. If this Works, then I think we'll have it solved.

Yes this was a bump ._.

The -clientport switch won't help here. The odd port numbers are due to NAT. To fix the problem, you'll need to configure your firewall/router correctly.

Craaaap...being only a 14-year old, I'm not allowed to mess with that stuff...

Well this is a Crappy Moment :/

Being a 14 year old dosen't mean you aren't allowed to mess with ports. Hell, if you know what you're doing, and have a standard router, it should be a cakewalk. Most routers use nothing as the username and "admin" as the password, anyways. It's not like you constantly need to do it for SRB2 to work. I forwarded 5029-5049 once and once only, and now I can host netgames freely.

Yeah, I forwarded the Ports myself (No one found out *Phew*) but what ticks me off is that even though I forwarded them, it still won't let me Host Netgames!

...hmm...
Do you have any firewalls active? Don't forget that windows has an internet connection firewall built in, so you might want to disable it.
What virus program are you using? I know that Norton usually notifys you if it notices a connection wanting through. If you ever see anything like so, with srb2win.exe being the cause, make sure you allow it to connect.

Alright, in order.

-I use Zone Alarm as my Firewall, and Windows is Disabled. Zone knows that SRB2 exe is a safe connectable internet program.
-I have no anti-virus right now (>_< a Loser is me)
