testing phails, maincfg lump wrecked... ?

What do I do if doombuilder can't find the engine executable in order to test the level?
and if I want to edit the maincfg lump the program crashes alltogether...
with the following error message:
"Runtime error '339':
Component 'cmcs.ocx' or one of its dependencies is not currently registered, a file is missing or invalid."

Now I have re-installed the program and re-installed it and re-installed it again. I have checked if the IWad is ok... what more is there to do?
(though I must admit that I just started using doombuilder and the srb2wiki wouldn't work once more.)

The executable should be srb2win.exe. See if there is a way to set it to use it.

Try going to the settings menu, under tools. (?)
Look for something mentioning the executable. Try changing the settings. If it doesn't work, try Googling smcs.ocx, so you can download it.

what actually makes me so mad is that I can't edit any scripts without the program crashing...
any idea as to that one?
[EDIT:] The testing works now for no specific reason. Weird... however, this makes me take a little step towards happiness.
