I'm looking at my system specs and I want to know how I can find if my processor's CPU's both have 2.20GHz together or 2.20GHz each. An answer to how I can find out is appreciated, or somehow an answer to if the the 2 cpu's are 2.20 GHz each or together would be appreciated even more. Thanks.

It doesn't work like that at all. While a dual core processor would run faster than a single core CPU with the same clock, it would not be able to make use of the clock speed for each core, so while you don't have 4.40Ghz there, you can't really say it's only 2.20Ghz either.

Clocks and multi-core is complicated to explain...

The thing you need to understand about CPUs is that clock rate isn't actually that important anymore. There are far more important factors at play, although admittedly I don't know what most of them are. Cue is absolutely correct, two cores clocked at 2.20 GHz does not equal a net processing power of 4.40 GHz, because clock rates don't "add up". Both cores are running at 2.20 GHz, it's that simple.

(It's morning, so this could be wrong, or worded strange) from what I gather from both your posts, both CPUs together are 2.20GHz. So if I want to play a game that recquires a pentium 4 processor, does that mean my computer will be unable to run it well?

If I'm not mistaken the PC only uses one processor for most programs unless the program actually needs both processors to run the program. so for most programs your PC is only using one of the processors.(Please correct me if I'm wrong, in new to this PC mumbo jumbo).
