Synch Failure

When I join/host a server, it instantly kicks me out saying Synch Failure Press ESC. Can I have some help? I haven't blocked it in the firewall, and I already did a port forward.

When I join/host a server, it instantly kicks me out saying Synch Failure Press ESC.

The only way I can reproduce this is by trying to use symbols for a colored name, of which aren't supported by the game anymore and instead gives you a "Player x sent a bad name change" error, resulting in an instant desync.


Whether or not you're tried to use them, I suggest you go to Multiplayer > Setup Player 1, erase your name completely then retype it.
