After a while of thought, I decided to do this wad after playing as Super Tails in S&K3.

Introducing, Super Tails!

Super Tails has flicky friends around him that can aid him in his attack! To use, goto Sonic and transform into Super Sonic, then switch skins to Tails. Tails is now able to fly on the air, gliding along like Super Sonic, and can skim across the water as well!

-Just for Kicks: Your color now reflects the color of the super form's eyes.
-Flickies now replace the sparks
-Cleaned up movement a bit more to make it cleaner
-Fixed glitch where it switches between standing and moving animations
-Now when you jump, it uses the Tails Flying sprite to visualise a image of Tails gliding along the air

I had the idea for this but I didnt do it.

The sprites are all right.

I think the flickys shoulde replace the stars that you see when your hyper(I know that isnt in 1.09.3 but meh it will work in 1.09.2.
 
That looks like a very hasty color-swap. You should know that you'll need to preserve the shading when doing color swapping, instead of just changing all the shades to a single color. And please, please, don't say "He doesn't need shading because he glows real bright". :P
 
Bah, it doesn't work in 1.09.3.4.
Anyways, I'd imagine super tails is just a yellow tails. So why go through the trouble of recoloring the sprites when you can type COLOR YELLOW in the console?
 
And he made it a speed thokker...I know that if he used the flying ability, he wouldn't be able to "transform", but tails + thok = fail.

He did the same thing with "super sonniku" (Super sonic wad...) and made it fly.

The flickys are very poorly animated, and the only thing that looked good in the wad was the jump. (BTW, he never edited the jump sprites ;)...)
 
Oh, hey, I got it working.. DAMN is that ugly. o_o
And the flickies don't go after enemies.. <_<

Well that wad with the super tails sprites... THE FLICKIES are in the sprites, meaning they cant attack (the flickies are attached)
 
Anyways, I'll say again that there was no reason to recolor the sprites to make 'em look shitty. You can use COLOR YELLOW o.o.
Man, this is so bad it almost makes me want to make my own with WORKING flickies.

My opinion on this is too much bad language for even this forum >.>


Pros:
He can jump high...
It gives very mild entertainment...
Skippy water :D
Cons:
You ruined the name of super tails!
It is very poorly made and has half the sprites cut out
You could have atleast not done the flickies, they just sit there doing nothing >.>, why?

it gives a sig serv error every time i select supertails now (V2)
 
You have disgraced the name "Supertails"

It's just the tails sprites, except that he speed-thoks and has the flying animation for a jump animation.

Here are ways that you can improve it:


  • -Make him have only ONE colour. I could recolour them for you if you have troubles with that.

    -Have the flickies there at ALL times

    -Actually make him FLY

    -Give him Super Sonic speed. He has the exact same speed as Tails...

And what's "Super Sonniku"?
 
Things that MUST be changed:

1: the walking animation is the standing animation of normal tails!
2: change the music!!! make it the SA2 tails theme, or just DON'T use tails theme at all!

Things that should be fixed:

1: the shading looks weird, don't use near black lines!
2: those birds are the worst quality i've ever seen.

Other then that, everythings fine.
