This is a mod I"m gonna do since I had to cancel DKR mod, heres proof of work.

basically it the level's of ssbm just put into adventure style and some other made-up levels.

Sorry to burst your bubble but there have been countless topics made upon this subject and that have failed miserably, Probably like this topic will fail sooner or later...

Well I wasn't doing it the way other people did, i'm doing it the adventure way, where there's no need to make it melee style.
 
I think a great level wadder might be able to make this mod very good. But i just think the SSMB levels were too short to make it into a SRB2 level just because SSMB wasn't supposed to be fast-paced so the levels werent made to be that long. Now imagine if you sped through the level as Sonic.

Sorry about this double post, but the levels are gonna be long not short, and some of them are going to be 3-d.

Another day, another "Mod" that shall undoubtably go unfinished...

First of all, what do you really hope to achieve by asking for help here for all those things?
In most of these types of topics you get a ton of people who will say they will do stuff for you but never follow through, as well as people getting in over their heads with what they are and aren't able to do due to their skill level.

As well as why try to recreate an Adventure mode from a game that is so drasticly diffrent from SRB2 that its not funny?
At LEAST the Jak mod has both games being platformers in common...
Don't try to make the SRB2 engine something it isn't....
You'll just screw yourself over.

Also, what have YOU done that makes you think you are capable of taking on a project of this size?
You were working on a DKR mod and killed THAT cause it just wasn't turning out good....
Just stop now before all you end up with is crap and disappointment here.
Try something small to start out with...
Might I suggest to try making a GOOD level first?

Dk Jungle adventure starts off from what jungle japes looked like, than changes into a 2-d adventure level, So basically It's adding more too the stages that weren't adventure like.(greens greens,onet,brinstar.etc)
 
Ok, for one, the Smash Bros. Levels are horrid. Though I am porting one, I'm not expanding it, and it will probably suck. If you think you can do this at all, I think it will mostly be level designing, something you seem to be avoiding. Without levels, this will suck. Horribly.
 
So, yeah, why am I seeing SKY1 on the walls? You know you can just make the ceiling of the thok barrier over there "F_SKY1" and it'll show the proper sky in that area for you, right?

That being said, I really don't think you should be working on a large-scale project so soon - particularly since you need, what, nine more people? Honestly, people, promising big things when you show up is NOT the way to go: instead, make a bunch of smaller levels, all relatively unique and unrelated to the others. THEN later on you can make the relevant modifications and turn them into fully-fledged mods. This is definitely what Mystic did, and I believe it's what Tets and FuriousFox did with their mods as well; therefore, I propose it's what you do, too.
