I am not sure if this has been posted before, I looked, but couldn't find anything. If this is, just lock it.
When you are in Techno Hill Act 2, just after the start of the level, on the path with the crushers, there is a glitch.
Go past the last lazar on the conveyor belts, turn around and spindash towards the side, where the lazers connect to the wall. While you are spinning, strafe to the side and get hit by the lazer. You will be stuck helplessly with the sprite of your character getting hit. You can not jump, be hurt, collect rings, or anything.
