SSN Tails's art-style is kinda underrated (To Me at least)

If you have watch SRB2 over the years one consistent art style has been used usually been done up till 2.2

Most of SRB2's art (I think, please correct me if I'm wrong) was done by a cool lad named "SSN Tails" who has been with SRB2 since it's earliest years .

I've always liked this artstyle ! It has a cute charm to it and makes me highly nostalgic for an era I never even grew up with !

Here are some of his drawings most of which I found at: SSNTAILS.org
with the exception of that screenshot of the early intro cut scene .

I'm gonna be real, I kinda like this more than the 2.2 art style

I actually kind of agree!
SSN's art feels like more of a part of a hobby project more than the modern art for the game. (Despite them both being parts of hobby projects)
It's just very friendly.

Addendum edit: I should also say I like the modern artstyle too. There's just something about how the amateurishness of SSN's art gives it more character.

I greatly enjoy the SSN art, it's very unique and looks good while not being overdone. I think the older versions really took advantage of the style well, while 2.2 is "better" the SSN art has a good charm to it and makes the game look different from the many many many other sonic fangames.

the artstyle, and old srb2 in general was just full of charm. don't get me wrong what we have now is also great and i get the appeal, but i'm not a fan of the complete overhaul and the need to move with the times.

i dunno maybe i'm just an old fart who's stuck in the past

I’ve always liked SSN’s art, especially after watching his old animations.
Sometimes, I wish I could draw like him.
