Um, sorry for the slight bump, but can I suggest a friends system where you can chat? If you've played a game from steam, you'll know what I'm talking about. Press a certain key combo, and a window comes up and you can chat to friends even if they're on a different server. Or would that need an extra server?

EDIT: One more question. Will SRB2Live eventually replace the normal SRB2?
 
To be honest you don't really need the master server....In the old versions of SRB2 We just used CONNECT

1. That will happen later.

2. Maybe, I don't know.
 
SRB2Live's online features (achievements, login, etc) and SRB2 will soon be one and the same, if that's what you meant.

And yeah, there will be 2 separate servers, one for in game stuff and one for a Steam style client, separating them means it's more efficient. (which is good)

question about king of the hill editing: what kind of level type is used in the MAINCFG?

I'll tell you what I want off this & what it needs!

NEEDS

1: To have the LOGIN SCREEN TO WORK
2: To make a separate Master Server to save accounts
3: In-Game Voice Chat or VoIP-style chat

WANTS
-----------------------------------------------------------
1: A game-type called Chat Zones, with Chatting areas like a couple of Houses, a little town or more.
2: Personal Host items & abilities
3: Forge

That's my list. Tell me if any of these are decent enough to use on this LIVE Beta.

PS. Someone better log on to Netplay

Forge is like editing a level, not actually making one, just adding stuff to already made levels. We don't need it anyway, since we can just make our own from scratch.
