srb2 volume problem

picked up sonic robo blast 2 again and played for a few minutes, but when the next act or level load the application volume gets turned up to 100%,

and every time i put it back down to 5% or 30% when the sound resets or a jingle plays it gets set back to 100%, it never used to do this anyone know why this is happening??

All right, that's a very concerning bug I've not heard of before. A few questions:

1. What operating system are you on? Windows? Mac? Linux? What version of that operating system?
2. Is it spiking the volume on your PC, or the volume setting in SRB2's sound options menu?
3. Are you using any mods or custom builds? In other words, does this happen in pure vanilla SRB2?
4. What version of SRB2 are you on?
5. Do you have headphones or speakers plugged in? If yes to either, does the problem persist without them?

1. im running it on windows 10
2. its on my pc
3. i dont think so, all i use are custom characters and even with all of the mods uninstalled the problem still exist

5. yes i usually use my pc with headphones because its the only thing i have my monitor doesnt have speakers

i did and it just raises it back up every time i load a level or a jingle plays
