SRB2 v2.2.14 Patch Release

i dont even see a difference in the sprites

Or Techno Legacy Zone, either, since I can play SRB2 The Past if I wanted to play it anyway, assuming it'll work on v2.2.14 still.
Techno Legacy is still there, except it is now but one section of Final Demo Zone (which is honestly a much better unlockable for the number of emblems you need, the team even fixed the colors for the warning light). Though it was slightly disappointing to not have emblems to find.

The new Pipe Towers is also pretty good, though I already found all of the emblems in the old version, and I'd rather not hunt them all down again with a fresh gamedata file so as to find them again.

As for my opinion on the version itself, it does look like it will need a patch release, but this is a pretty big release for mappers considering what UDMF has made possible.
 
Although it is nice that Final Demo Zone was included in the game as I feel it is a much better throwback to 1.09.4 than Techno Legacy Zone, I can't help but wonder why the emblems were removed. I thought they made for quite a fun way to jog your memory for those who were there during the final demo days and it honestly made me appreciate the original mod even more.
 
Damn... First update in a year is a bug landmine for addons. Would love to play 2.2.14 but i'm gonna stick to 2.2.13 until those bugs get ironed out in a patch, or until 2.2.15 arrives.

New Pipe Towers and Final Demo Zone were fun though! And the new sprites still have that 2.2 charm to them while being just generally better and more polished, especially for Amy.
 
I just played the new Pipe Towers...and at least that's great! Much better graphics/scenery and some adjustments to make it flow better with Sonic's speed...I'll take it over the original!
