I'm guessing you compiled a separate executable with an ASCII library as the graphics driver, or something. I doubt you were using an external program, as it probably would have shown up at the bottom with the two command prompts.
 
I found LibCaca, but I can't manage to get it downloaded. ;_;
EDIT: I finally got it but it a dang source! I can't make the freakin' make file either even though I have make! *headdesks*
Can you tell me how you got it compiled?

ASCII Mode is not supported kthnxbai. ^_~
 
My graphics card has an option for an ASCII filter on any fullscreen program. If I feel like it, I'll upload shots of it in SRB2 later.

What operating system are you using?
