SRB2 physics recreation Help for godot

For a long time, I wanted to make a sonic fan game myself. I wanted to use godot due to its lightweight and the fact that its open source. But it seems for 3d there is no good enough framework that can handle sonic physics and gameplay. So i want to make the physics system myself. If anyone knows very well about How SRB2 physics work and how its implemented, can you write about it so i can implement it myself?
