SRB2 kart help

Every time i try to start up SRB2 kart (im new btw) i keep getting this message:

A WAD file was not found or not valid

Am i missing a WAD file for it?

It's for version 2.0 (an older version which you can download on srb2.org in archived downloads) not 2.1 (current version) that why it gives that error
