Srb2 host problem

When i try to host my friend can't see my server. When he hosts I can't see his server. Can anyone tell me whats wrong?

Hamachi is a program that allows users to make P2P connections by using alternate IPs, which may fix your hosting problem.

Portforwarding is a sure-fix for your problem, and doesn't require Hamachi, but you need to have administrative access to whatever routers you may have.

Hamachi doesn't simulate LANs, it just allows for users to have P2P connections by using alternate IPs >_> They can be used to make small networks, too, but they work nowhere near a LAN.

The only reason I thought it simulated one is because I heard it from someone else. I honestly didn't know. =|
