Ok, I must of had all the screenshots next together making it messup or somthing.
Anyways, I'll have a download link up later when I finish a few more levels.
 
Holy crap.....
I went into this level pack expecting to have to do one of my usual "Kroze rips wad a new one and makes maker cry so much that he cancels it altogether" since level packs all being released at once like this are hardly ever good but... wow... what you have here for a rough (And I see that it is really rough due to some places with no enemies, rings or details plus random platforms that are actually deathpits... or deathpits that don't kill you) but for a start this is really damn good!

Way more effort then a lot of people put into their first "Beta release" on the forums of their level packs.

There was just a couple problems which are easily fixed... for one the first act of the lava level feels a bit too cramped... especially when comparing it to the second act of it. Platforms are just a tad too small and several other things... Dunno if this was just a design thing to make the level harder or what but I do suggest you increase the scale of that first level just a bit...

Second thing is the music in some places... the volume of it varies... its mainly the first act of the lava zone again that blasts your ears out after the other levels.

Also... nice little thing at the end there after beating the pack so far... I won't spoil it for anyone but it was unexpected...

The green Sonic clone during the final boss confused me a bit... is he on the player's side? Is he supposed to be attacking you? Is he supposed to be blue? :P

Your forest zone especially amazed me with your layout and the way you used the scrolling textures and quicksand all together like that. Kudos on that!

Overall, I would have to say this is the most promising level pack I have seen around here in a long time and I think you should keep on working on it and improving what you currently have while adding to it.

I can easily see this as being played right along side other awesome packs like Mystic Realm, Acid Missile, Blue Haven and Morph's level pack. I highly look forward to your next release!

P.S. You may want to come up with a better name for it! :P
 
I'll take Kroze's opinion seriously.... I knew it looked good, but to get praise from him?

Oh, wow that's funny. I didn't play much of it, I got distracted by working on my own wads.
 
So... after playing 8 acts, with a computer crash in my gameplay, I've finally finished it, and I'm kinda surprised to see these levels.

Greenery Pass: 7.5/10
For the 1st mod's level, it's pretty well done, still, there's alot of empty, yet wide-open spaces without even some decoration. That, of course, lowers the note. I don't understand why was there a crawla commander...

Boss Battle: 9,5/10
Definitively the best boss battle I've ever seen.

Forest Fort. 8.5/10
Not bad, it's more better than it looks, I liked the "new" crawla. Did you replace the jetty-syn bomber for it? If it is, then it's good. I liked the mud physics too. Though, I didn't like the overuse of those pop-up turrets. It's not a challenge, it's just plain cheap.

Magma Ruins: 8,5/10
The only problem I see in here is the fact of missing scenery. Otherwise, it's good.

EggMansion: ???/10
Error: EggMansion doesn't exist

Cosmic Base: 5/10
It was by far, the most confusing zone ever. I had no idea where to go. There's no checkpoints in it either. But I liked the "space = no air" part, which was something new. Also:
Error: Cosmic Base 2 doesn't exist.

Final Zone: 7/10
The most cheapest boss ever. Enough said.

Now, I'm off!

Wow! This sounds good according to the people above me. I mean, when I saw who made the topic, I didn't really expect anything amazing besides some good sprites, but you really seemed to have worked pretty hard making these levels. Good job!

Ok.... I gusses It's about time I put up a progress post.

I have started work on Eggmansion act 2 and it is about 1/3% done, here are some screenshots:

I have also started on the first addon pack for the mod called "Crazy City". I am not quite sure of how many zones it will have But I have some screenshots of one of the zones that it will have:

I can't wait for the final release. Dude... I applaude you.

This mod has been the best thing I've seen in a long time.... So much platforming and the sort...

But I'll admit, the final boss needs a different layout than most bosses. A lazer that he shoots for 10 seconds as he tries to kill you? Just thinking of an idea for you....

But overall, I was very impressed. The graphic detail and map layouts were good, and the first boss battle shocked me when it started doing this: It moved out of the way in a circular motion before I struck him. You program him to do that? Cause, I must say that that was brilliant.
 
If you are talking about when the boss goes into boss pinch, Yes, If not, no.

To bad the boss is only a place holder untill I soc the new boss.

The final boss that is used now is just a cheap place holder, the new one will be a ground based boss that acts like Sonic 2's final boss.

I sure hope he isn't joking, cause sonic 2 style final boss = WIN!


EDIT: Okay just played it and everything looks awesome, Especially the first boss.

The final boss placeholder kinda reminded me of "Shadow the Hedgehog" (the game, not him.) which is a good thing in my eyes since SHTH was a pretty cool game IMO. (The green sonic thing was jumping around pretty strange though)

anyway alot of the levels were severely void in detail, although I won't say too much sense they obviously aren't done yet.

As I previously stated the first boss was pretty cool. In fact it was the best boss fight I've ever had on SRB2! (Even over my WIP Egg Snake boss that I can't get to function properly.) (So far anyway ;))
