SRB2 3DS Error

Hello, I tried to get srb2 3ds, but whenever I launch the game, I get this error, can anyone help?

I followed the "installation" section exactly on the github's README, so I don't know what could go wrong.

I am on the latest firmware, could that be the problem? (11.6.0-49U)

UPDATE: When using the homebrew launcher, I get to this screen; but then I cant exit to the home menu, or do anything other than powering it off.

The port you are using is made for NEW 3ds systems. It will not work on Old 3ds systems (trust me, I tried)
