sprite replacement

I really want to know how to replace sprites, like toads,
short mario bushes, and sunflowers. What are the sprite names and how do i replace them?

A wad editor like XWE or SlumpED, and use the S_START S_END, Put the sprites within those and make sure it's the same name as what you want to replace
