What's the significance of this section?

Back when the level was Starlight Palace, there used to be a button there that opened the path to where the green emblem is now. They changed it so that the trigger that opens that path is now in the Aerial Garden 3 tower (the 4 buttons at the top that you can only get to by completing the 4 mini-challenges), so they replaced the old now-useless button with a house, presumably to make the place cozier.

The house itself, I believe, is a nod to RedXVI, a character who used to exist in previous versions of SRB2, and lived in that same house, which used to exist in Greenflower Zone 1.
