Splitscreen?

I want to know if the "splitscreen" thing, or something like this can be used to separate Player1-Player2 cams in multiplayer.

You mean 2 players on the same computer while playing online? This has been discussed MANY many many times... It's not happening.

Sorry to bust your bubbles. But this 2 player thing is not gonna happen at all. And even if they wanted to. They will have problems. Sometimes when player 2 moves. Player 1 cam messes up and your not able to see anything. Then comes to only one person can chat. Most likely player 1 will only be able to chat. then if your pc or laptop screen is very small. The game will be very hard to keep up with other players on such a small screen at once. Anyway this is why this shall never happen.

Splitscreen netplay isn't going to happen, but not for any of the reasons Aries said.

If you really want to play online with your buddy, just grab another computer with SRB2, host a server, let your buddy come in and there you go.

If you really want to play online with your buddy, just grab another computer with SRB and there you go.

Pretty sure you can host a game online, and have your mate join via the LAN, if you're connected via the same Internet connection.
If you can somehow run two SRB2s of acceptable screen size on one computer, and get them both to accept input at the same time (very VERY big somehow) you could play like that too.

Also, Sonic Robo Blast 1 is not what you had in mind.

Older versions of SRB2 actually DID have splitscreen. Not sure if any 2.0/2.1 revision does, though, and even then, it's limited to same-room multiplayer (not that you'd asked for anything different, just asserting that).
