Split Archives?? (how to open)

Can I open Split Archives without downloading external software like 7zip? Or do I need 7zip.
I ask because alot of good 2.1 mods do this and idk how to get the file.
Some of them linked a mediafire link, but i cant go to mediafire on this computer but i can go to google drive.
