Sound replacements?

I know music WADs are against the rules, but how about sound WADs? They could be entertaining. (Just cause I'm sitting on a sound pack and want to release it.)

If you wanna release it just release it with a level pack or something?

As long as its legal content of course

Plenty legal, and pretty hilarious too. Just got some good voice clips to fit Sonic is all. Some alternate explosions, maybe some new pickup sounds.

I thought that music wads were only against the rules if the music is
illegal, but I could be wrong. As for that sound pack, release it!
I love funny sounds. If it turns out to be against the rules, well, don't.

Sound packs are fine, afaik. The problem with the music packs is that people were packing lots of copyrighted music into them, and the WADs were also like 50mb.
