Sound Help.

I'm trying to import a jumping sound, it should sound like the SA2B jump, and it's not going so well. I did all the steps, inserted it, but when I go to test it, it sounds like a mess of explosions, why is this happening?

If you are using XWE, you gotta go up to "Wave" and save it as a Doom Sound.

I still seem to have problems, now it crashes while jumping.
