People, if I recall. Projects on hold since Blur is one of the main spriters for Modern v6, also Blur's a person. It'll probably be a long while before this comes back.

I have heard of the modern sonic resprite but I haven't seen any pictures of it, but I'm still excited for this mod either way.

The abilities that he'll have are listed somewhere on page 6. Out of all of them, I think my favorite is Burst Speed simply because of how cool it sounds.

Burst Speed is still in the moveset, I had to re-re-overhaul it so it's less crowded.
